Granville ENT to Open on Granville Health System’s Oxford Campus
OXFORD, NC (August 26, 2016) – Granville Health System (GHS) announced that it has partnered with UNC School of Medicine to open an Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat, or ENT) practice on the health system’s main campus, near Granville Medical Center. Granville ENT will be led by Wade McClain, D.O., and is currently scheduling appointments.
Based on past and ongoing community needs assessments performed, area residents identified ENT as a needed specialty within Granville County. GHS worked with UNC School of Medicine’s Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery to establish the new practice in Oxford.

Dr. McClain is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and received his medical degree from the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery at Oklahoma State Medical Center.
Board Certified through the American Osteopathic Boards of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery, Dr. McClain recently completed a Pediatric ENT fellowship through the UNC School of Medicine.
The services offered by Dr. McClain through the practice and Granville Medical Center are extensive; including both adult and pediatric care:

In addition, Granville ENT will provide a complete array of Audiology services including diagnostic audiological testing, digital hearing aid fittings / dispensing, tinnitus/hearing distortion evaluations and additional counseling services.
