Granville Health System announces March 31 grand opening of Granville ExpressCare clinic, located at Oxford Walmart store

3/21/2011

Granville ExpressCare is the first clinic at Walmart in the Triangle area.

Granville Health System, in collaboration with NextDoor Health, is pleased to announce the Grand Opening of Granville ExpressCare, the new source for convenient, accessible health care. The clinic, at 1015 Lewis Street in Oxford, is the first to open in a Walmart in the Triangle area.

Now, shoppers at Walmart can also put good health on their list. Offering a wide range of well-patient care, immunizations and routine physicals, as well as treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, the clinic will pioneer a new combination of convenience, accessibility, and diversity of services.

Granville ExpressCare offers the ease of shopping at Walmart with the excellence and experience patients expect from the Granville Health System.

With extended evening hours and no appointment necessary, keeping up with good health should be easier with this new option. “Granville Health System is pleased to be working with NextDoor Health and providing convenient access to care through Granville ExpressCare,” says L. Lee Isley, GHS Chief Executive Officer. “We will continue to seek opportunities that support our commitment to provide our community with access to new services throughout the area, where they work and live.”

At the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, March 31, at 4:00 p.m., members of the community, joined by the Granville County Chamber of Commerce, will have a chance to explore the facility, meet the staff (all part of the trusted Granville Health System network), and learn more about how Granville ExpressCare can easily meet the varied health care needs of individuals and families.

“Quality and personalized care are at the heart of what people consider great health care,” said John M. Durant, Vice President of Marketing for NextDoor Health. “Granville Health System is well-known as a standard-bearer for quality for fostering great trust in the community. We’re delighted to partner with them in treating patients compassionately and conveniently in contributing to wellness in the Oxford area.”
