Granville Primary Care, Oxford Welcomes Pediatrician Kelly Hayes, MD
OXFORD, NC (July 1, 2017) – Granville Health System (GHS) recently announced pediatrician Kelly Hayes, MD will be joining Granville Primary Care, Oxford (GPC-O) later this month.
Dr. Hayes is a graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, during which he was recognized as Kentucky Children’s Hospital Resident of the Year in the areas of Nephrology, Pulmonology, Newborn Nursery, and Endocrinology. Dr. Hayes is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation, and he currently serves on the Kentucky Children’s Hospital Quality and Safety Committee.
The arrival of Dr. Hayes to GPC-O is part of a current overarching expansion of physician services occurring throughout Granville Health System. Recently, GHS has welcomed new providers in primary care, hospitalist services, surgical services and urology.

In joining Granville Primary Care, Dr. Hayes will be working with a group of established providers in delivering comprehensive care in the areas of family, pediatric and internal medicine. With locations in both Oxford and Butner-Creedmoor, Granville Primary Care provides a complement of services in caring for entire families, ranging from pediatric to geriatric medicine.

In referencing well-equipped clinics, Dr. Hayes is referring to a planned medical office building scheduled to be built on the Granville Medical Center campus. The new facility will immediately house Granville Primary Care, Oxford and be available for additional services as they are introduced to the health system.
