GSA Mission Statement

Granville Surgical Associates is a general surgical practice that provides consultative and operative services in the areas of General, Advanced Laparoscopic, Endocrine, Breast, Cancer, and Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.  The surgeons are residents of the local community and are steadfast in our pledge to provide you with the highest quality of surgical care and the most advanced surgical services available.

Our surgeons are certified by the American Board of Surgery and are trained as Certified Advanced Trauma Surgeons.  They are all members of local and national medical societies and continue to receive specialized training in advanced surgical training.

We understand that undergoing surgery can be a stressful event in your life.  Our doctors and staff are committed to minimizing stress. We believe that this is best achieved through good communication.  We want our patients to be well informed about their disease processes and treatment options. Our physicians will meet with you and your family to explain procedures and recommended treatment plans.  They will review the alternatives, discuss the associated risks and benefits, and answer all of your questions.

As a courtesy to our patients, we will complete and file the necessary claim forms for reimbursement of the services rendered by our physicians.  We will also pre-certify your surgery, as this can be a very time consuming task.   We also will provide you with a list of all necessary tests that will need to be performed prior to surgery. We also keep in close contact with your primary care physician and your treatment will be a collaborative effort.

Granville Surgical Associates accepts most major insurances. Please contact our office if you are unsure if we are covered by your health insurance plan. We accept Medicare assignment.

In order to ensure timely appointments, we do not accept walk in appointments. Please call our office during normal business hours to schedule an appointment.

At the time of your visit we request that you bring your insurance card and any referral that you have been given. HMO patients will not be seen without the appropriate referral. Also it is requested that you bring any important medical information and appropriate X-ray films and copies of any tests that may need to be reviewed by the surgeon.
