2017 Ambulance Chase & Food Truck Rodeo

3/18/2017 - 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM
The Granville Ambulance Chase offers something for everyone – from serious runners to families looking for a day of healthy fun. The event features a 5K/10K competitive race and 5K fun run on a certified course in historic downtown Oxford, NC. The event features trained athletes competing for a trophy as well as teams who are less concerned with their finish time. The 1-Mile Family Walk welcomes strollers and multi-generational family groups. Kids can compete in the Kids Dash and receive a medal for their participation. After the event, relax and enjoy live music and a variety of tastes from local area food trucks.

The success of this event is dependent on our volunteers. We will need volunteers to help with the set up of the event, clean up of the event, manage traffic and runners as an intersection volunteer, as well as other miscellaneous jobs that will come up on race day.

To receive citizenship credit for this you must serve the time listed on the volunteer job that you sign up for.

The following event coordinators will be able to sign off on your citizenship form at the event:
  • Shields Blackwell
  • Scott Thomas
  • Melanie Hobgood
