Statement from Granville Health System Board of Trustees
July 9, 2026, Oxford, NC– The Granville Health System Board of Trustees announced today that it has accepted the resignation of Adam McConnell as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. We thank Adam for his service to Granville Health System.
Melanie Hobgood will continue serving as Acting CEO. The Board has full confidence in Melanie’s leadership and will begin a search for the health system’s next CEO.
During this leadership transition, Granville Health System continues serving the community with the high-quality care patients expect.
