Eleventh Annual GHS Foundation Art Gala Offers a Night of Celebration
The Granville Health System (GHS) Foundation will host its eleventh annual Art Gala on Saturday, November 23 at the Henderson Country Club.
Gary Bowman, Chairman of the Foundation, said, “Our theme this year is ‘Building for the Future’ and we have planned a terrific event to support our community hospital.”
The Art Gala will feature both a live and silent auction. Auction items include vacation packages, performing arts, culinary arts, jewelry, sports packages, and more.
The black-tie optional event kicks off at 6:00 p.m. with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction, followed by a delicious dinner. The event also features a very popular wine pull as well as a recently-added whiskey draw that offers a variety of top-shelf bourbons. Harvest Restaurant Head Chef and Owner James Dutra will create a special dessert. Vegetarian meals are available upon request.
“This community has done a great deal to support the health of its citizens,” said Martha Wrenn, Chairman of the Art Gala. “The Foundation is pleased to support the hospital as they expand and grow to meet the demands of the area. In the past the Granville Health System Foundation has raised $500,000 to support the construction of a new Emergency Department and $300,000 for the purchase of a new CT scanner at Granville Medical Center.”
The current campaign supports the remodeling of South Granville Medical Center which houses both Granville Primary Care, Butner-Creedmoor and Granville ExpressCare.
