GHS Foundation Presents $100,000 Check to Granville Health System
OXFORD, NC (April 11, 2014) – The Granville Health System Foundation recently presented a check for $100,000 to Granville Health System. The check is the fourth in a series designed to provide a half-million dollars over the course of 5 years. To date, the Foundation has donated $400,000 toward the goal.
The mission of Granville Health System Foundation is to serve as a charitable resource for Granville Health System, supporting its commitment to provide quality health care to all citizens of the community, where they live and work. The Foundation builds support for GHS and provides financial resources to purchase new equipment, develop new services, maintain and improve facilities, and recruit new health professionals to Granville County.
“This generous gift recognizes the high level of care provided by our dedicated doctors, nurses, and staff to the patients of Granville County and the surrounding areas,” said Granville Health System CEO L. Lee Isley. “As we move forward, the Health System will continue to invest in the community, supporting our commitment to deliver quality care.”
In the past several years, the Foundation has experienced significant growth as a result of holding a number of successful fundraisers, establishing a viable presence in the community and building productive relationships with local businesses and community leaders.
