COVID-19 Updates
Brantwood Nursing & Rehab Center (Brantwood) notified residents and their responsible parties on June 22, 2020 that a Brantwood staff member tested positive for COVID-19. Since that date Brantwood has tested all 110 staff members and all 56 residents. As of June 29, we have identified a total of 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19 (including the original positive case), both of which are staff members.
The safety of our residents and staff is our top priority. We want to make sure that we are keeping you all up to date on the measures being taken to ensure their safety as well as the current number of cases in our facilities.
Granville Health System remains in close communication with local and state health officials to ensure the appropriate steps are being taken under the current circumstances.

Tuesday, June 30, 2020: A message from GHS CEO John F. Snow
Today, we had to break the news that 2 Brantwood employees have tested positive for COVID-19. I’m anxious for our staff members that have this virus. I pray for their strength and healing. And I keep their families on my mind.
I’m also very aware that the Brantwood residents and their families must be so very worried. It gives me some peace that no residents have tested positive. I want you to know that our entire organization is absolutely committed to keeping everyone in the facility as safe as possible. We will continue being fiercely protective of our residents and staff. We will continue screening every single person that enters the building. We will continue conducting tests each week in accordance with Granville-Vance District Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control. This team will not let down our guard.
