GHS Foundation Announces Granville 5K Ambulance Chase
The Granville Health System Foundation announces a 5K run, 1-Mile Family Walk and 100-Yard Kid’s Dash to benefit the expansion and renovations at Granville Medical Center. The event will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Oxford Recreation Complex on East Spring Street.
Registration for the activities will begin at 7:30 a.m. inside Hix Gym or participants can register online at ghs5K.org or active.com.
- 5K competitive race begins at 8:30 a.m. on East Spring Street and continues along a certified 5K course
- 1-Mile Family Walk begins at 9:30 a.m. on East Spring Street
- 100-Yard Kid’s Dash begins at 10:00 a.m. on the football field at Hix Gym
Costs for the 5K and 1-Mile Family walk are $25 for same-day registration or $20 pre-registered. This price includes a race tee shirt and awards for the top finishers. The 100-Yard Kid’s Dash is just $10 with no late fee and includes a medal.
The Granville 5K Ambulance Chase offers something for everyone from serious runners to families looking for a day of fun. Kid’s activities include a giant inflatable slide, face painting and balloon sculpture.
