GHS Foundation Art Gala Tops $100,000 in Support of GHS Expansion Plan

The Granville Health System Foundation announced its fourth annual Art Gala raised more than $111,000 in support of the GHS Expansion Plan. The event attracted more than 200 members of the community.

The “Art of Vision” Gala featured nearly 100 raffle and auction items including trip packages for New York City and Charleston, as well as trips to Kiawah Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Hatteras Island, Lake Gaston and Oriental, NC.

“This community has once again come together to overwhelmingly support the quality care offered through your community hospital,” said Gary Bowman, President of the Foundation Board. “For this we thank you.”

Bowman said the annual gala is the biggest fundraiser for the Foundation in terms of the number of people involved and money raised for a single event. “Like all of our fundraisers, we use the money raised from the Gala to support the work of Granville Health System.”
