GHS Foundation to Host Annual Gala on December 10 to Benefit Granville Health System
The GHS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is hosting its annual “The MASK-arade” Gala on Friday, December 10. This year’s Gala will be a virtual event that includes an online auction, a raffle, and a five-course dinner from Strong Arm Baking Company that will be delivered directly to your door. The GHS Foundation will direct all proceeds from the Gala to benefit Granville Health System, one of North Carolina’s leading rural healthcare providers.
Tickets to the virtual Gala are $125 per person and includes a raffle ticket. Raffle winners will be announced the day of the Gala. An online auction, featuring a limited number of luxury items, will open on November 29 and close on December 10 at 9:00 PM. Gala tickets are currently on sale through December 3. To order tickets and view auction items, visit ghsfoundation.org/gala2021.
Additionally, an exclusive “Bourbon & Bites” silent auction of high-quality bourbon, open only to MASK-arade Gala ticket holders, will be held on December 9 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at HighRock Farms located at 2317 Enon Road in Oxford. This silent auction provides a special opportunity for guests to blindly select a bottle of premium bourbon, ranging in average price from $50 to $130. The “Bourbon & Bites” Bourbon Draw fee is $50 per draw. The entry fee to Bourbon & Bites is $25 per person, in addition to the Mask-arade Gala ticket price.
“The GHS Foundation is proud to host this annual Gala to raise money for the important work being done at Granville Health System to deliver healthcare services throughout the many communities it serves,” said Martha Wrenn, Chair of the Board of Directors, GHS Foundation. “While the COVID-19 pandemic has brought many challenges to people, Granville Health System has always been there to support the health of others. This year’s annual MASK-arade Gala provides an opportunity for guests to engage in fun during this holiday season and to safely support the GHS Foundation and its mission.”
