Granville Health System Announces 2025 3rd Quarter DAISY Award® Honoree
OXFORD, NC, November 3, 2025 – Granville Health System has announced its third quarter winner of the DAISY award. Georgina Reyes, BSN, RN was awarded The DAISY Award® on October 29, 2025. Georgina, a nurse in our Women’s Services Unit, was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient.
“This nurse was the sweetest soul with me and my baby. I was treated with respect, and she didn’t make me feel like a burden to her considering I’m a first-time mom and it was my first time going through labor and postpartum. She listened to everything I said and made me feel heard, always checked up with me to see if I was okay or needed anything and helped me tremendously to navigate with my baby and my needs while in pain.”
The Award is part of The DAISY Foundation’s mission to recognize nurses for the extraordinary, compassionate care they provide patients and families every day. Granville Health System is among many healthcare organizations participating in The DAISY Award program.
