Granville Health System Announces 2025 4th Quarter DAISY Award® Honoree
Granville Health System has announced its fourth quarter winner of the DAISY award. Melissa “Missy” Smith, LPN was awarded The DAISY Award® on February 3, 2026. Missy, a nurse in our Medical-Surgical Unit, was nominated for the DAISY Award by a patient.
“My Nurse should absolutely win this award!!! I came to this hospital to have a life changing operation, not knowing that I’d be so fortunate to have a fantastic very warm, very caring nurse like Missy. From her first introducing herself and letting me know how she worked with my surgeon and how much she loved working with him and had total confidence and praised his work. I trusted her and felt comfortable sharing many things with her, and the care she showed me as my nurse was phenomenal. I’ve never felt more at ease and cared for as a patient and person as I have with Missy. She is by far one of the kindest and extremely efficient nurses I’ve ever had contact with. She goes far and above her duties as a nurse. I am confident of Granville Health System because of your choice in a nurse like Missy. Thank you for my experience here for having someone as purposeful and human in her care for her patients. Especially my experience having her.”
