Granville Health System Appoints Jamie Purvis as New Chief Financial Officer

Oxford, NC – October 1, 2024 – Granville Health System (GHS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Jamie Purvis as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 10/1/2024. Jamie brings over fourteen years of hospital revenue cycle experience with seven of those years being at GHS, having served as the Director of Revenue Cycle since 2017.

Jamie succeeds Adam McConnell, who previously held the CFO position from 2018 until he was named CEO in 2023. “Jamie has demonstrated exceptional leadership and expertise in financial strategy throughout her time with Granville Health System. Her experience and commitment make her the ideal choice to guide our financial operations into the future,” said McConnell.

As Director of Revenue Cycle, Jamie Purvis led initiatives that significantly improved the system’s cash collection processes and overall financial operations. Her focus on streamlining revenue management and fostering collaboration across departments has been critical to the financial success of GHS.

Jamie holds an Associate’s in Accounting, Bachelor’s in Business Education and an MBA. She is passionate about continuing the system’s commitment to financial sustainability and quality care for the community.
