Granville Health System Celebrates Granville County’s First Baby of the New Year, New Decade

Jahsey Ganer made his entrance into the world at 5:01 a.m. on January 1 to become Granville Health System’s first baby of the year for 2020. Baby Jahsey, who weighed 6 lbs., 2 oz. and measured 20” long, is the son of Santana and Antwan Garner of Henderson.

The maternal grandmother is Laura Andablo. The paternal grandfather is John Garner. The baby has 4 older siblings at home.

Numerous gifts were presented to the first baby of the new year.  A basket of baby care accessories including a baby blanket, stuffed animals, a bath set, a gift card for Food Lion, and other items donated by GHS staff members.
