Granville Health System Celebrates Hospital Week
Granville Health System celebrated National Hospital Week May 10 – 16, 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the exceptional response by the Granville Health System team, the theme of the local event was “Celebrating Our Healthcare Heroes”.
“It’s always a honor to recognize the dedication and hard work of health system employees during Hospital Week,” said CEO John F. Snow. “Now more than ever before, it’s important to me to highlight our healthcare heroes and the immeasurable contributions and invaluable leadership they are providing to support the needs of the community during the pandemic.”
Granville Health System celebrated Hospital Week at the main campus in Oxford, as well as it’s physician practices, and the South Granville Medical Center campus. Part of the celebration includes an opportunity for members of the community to tell their story about a GHS healthcare hero. Patients can visit ghsHospital.org/yourhealthcarehero to share their story.
“I truly appreciate the remarkable narratives I receive sharing the life-saving and life-changing care from our healthcare heroes at Granville Health System,” said Snow. “These experiences confirm what I’ve known all along – our staff are simply remarkable and, I believe, are the very best.”
National Hospital Week, celebrated the first full week in May since 1921, highlights the importance of every hospital, health system and person involved in keeping our communities healthy.
