Granville Health System Joins National Recognition of Nurses and Health Care Staff

National Nurses Week, National Hospital Week and National Skilled Nursing Care Week to Recognize Health Care Workers for Their Accomplishments

The Administration and Board of Trustees of Granville Health System (GHS), one of North Carolina’s leading rural health care providers, are pleased to participate in the upcoming national celebrations for hospital and healthcare workers. The occasion will be marked with celebratory activities at

the GHS main campus in Oxford to honor the outstanding work of the health system’s team members.

National Nurses Week recognizes the contributions that nurses and the nursing profession make to the community, and is celebrated between May 6, National Nurses Day, and May 12, the birthdate of celebrated nurse Florence Nightingale.

National Hospital Week is May 8-14, 2022, and is an opportunity to highlight our nation’s hospitals, health systems, and health care workers and the innovative ways they are supporting and connecting to their community.

National Skilled Nursing Care Week is May 8-14, 2022, and celebrates the commitment of staff providing skilled care and nursing services to re

sidents at skilled nursing facilities. GHS operates Brantwood Nursing & Rehab Center in Oxford.
