Granville Health System Offers Orthopaedic Care in Butner
Granville Health System (GHS) will offer orthopaedic care in Butner effective December 2, 2020.
Granville Orthopaedics will provide orthopaedic care at 317 Central Avenue in Butner every Wednesday. The office will join Granville Medical Rehabilitation already at the location, providing physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.
“Granville Health System is please to offer quality orthopaedic care to patients in the southern end of Granville County,” said John F. Snow, CEO of Granville Health System. “Access to orthopaedic care with physical therapy on site is a convenience we are pleased to provide to patients in the Butner area.”
Dr. Rafael Negron of Granville Orthopaedics will offer patients a full range of orthopaedic services, including:
Pediatric and adult fracture management
- Total hip replacement
- Total knee replacement
- Arthroscopic knee and shoulder procedures
- Rotator cuff repair
- Nonsurgical management of arthritis of knee and hip
- Carpel tunnel surgery
- Tendon repair
Dr. Negron was educated at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed his internship at the University of Rochester. His residency in Orthopaedic Surgery was completed at the University of Puerto Rico. He also completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the West Point Military Academy in New York. He served as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force, where he achieved the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Dr. Negron speaks fluent Spanish.
