Granville Health System Opens New Digital X-Ray Room as Part of Commitment to Growing Community Needs
Oxford, N.C- Granville Health System (GHS) has opened a newly renovated X-ray room featuring advanced digital imaging technology as part of its ongoing investment in meeting the healthcare needs of our growing community.
The modernized space includes a high-resolution digital X-ray machine that enhances image quality and streamlines the patient’s experience.
“We are proud to bring the latest in imaging technology to our community,” said Brandy Rivera, Director of Radiology at GHS. “The new digital X-ray equipment allows us to capture high-quality images in a fraction of the time, which means quicker results for patients and improved diagnostic accuracy for providers.”
Kelly Lucas, Chief Information Officer at GHS, led the project in coordination with the Radiology team. “This is one of many important steps we’re taking to expand access and modernize care delivery,” said Lucas. “It’s about making meaningful improvements that serve our patients today and keep pace with the needs of our growing community. We’re here, we’re local, and we’re ready to care for you.”
GHS serves residents across Granville County and neighboring areas in northern and central North Carolina. Its Imaging Department offers a full range of diagnostic services, including CT, ultrasound, mammography, fluoroscopy, and general radiology.
