Granville Health System Secures Funds for Critical EMS Vehicles

Granville Health System is thrilled to announce that Granville County has designated substantial funds to support the acquisition of essential Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicles. This investment underscores the County’s commitment to enhancing public safety and the well-being of its residents.

These funds will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Granville Health System’s EMS division continues to provide top-notch emergency medical services to the community and will directly contribute to the procurement of modern and well-equipped EMS vehicles, empowering the EMS team to respond efficiently to emergencies and deliver life-saving care.

Granville Health System Interim CEO, Adam McConnell, expressed gratitude for the County’s decision, stating, “We are immensely thankful for the foresight and dedication of Granville County in designating funds for our EMS vehicles. This investment will strengthen our capabilities to serve the community in times of need. Our commitment to delivering high-quality emergency medical services remains unwavering, and these funds will directly translate into continuing our mission to promote well-being, accelerate healing, and inspire hope in our communities.”

The new EMS vehicles will be equipped with the latest medical technologies and safety features, ensuring the safety of both patients and EMS personnel. Granville County Board of Commissioners Chair Russ May emphasized, “Increasing funding and support for public safety is one of the top priorities for this Board of Commissioners. The funding we received from ARPA allowed us to put some of our surplus dollars to critical needs for our residents. We are pleased to know that our funding has provided Granville EMS with this equipment that will serve our residents for years to come.”

The collaboration between Granville Health System and Granville County exemplifies the County’s commitment to making a positive difference in the health and well-being of our community.  By earmarking funds for EMS vehicles, Granville County sets a precedent for proactive, community-oriented governance.
